Minimum requirements

Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role.
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience an acclaimed establishment.
Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field.
Fluent English.

Contract details

  • TAX FREE € Salary – to be discussed

  • Contract: 12 months renewable
  • Vacation: 2 months - paid
  • Working hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
  • LIVE OUT – Accommodation (single and double occupancy) and meals – provided free of charge (for those accommodated outside estate 25% allowance on top of salary as an allowance to find an apartment and transportation is provided free of charge); only married couples can share accommodation
  • Facilities (gym, pool, laundry for personal clothes and towels etc.)
  • Strict rules regarding social behavior and grooming (no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs, inside the estate crew will need to wear uniforms and outside the estate girls will have to wear an abaya – no need to cover face or hair; men can wear shorts up to their knees and polo shirts with short sleeve)

We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to prepare a variety of desserts, pastries or other sweet goods. 
Your skill in baking high quality treats should be matched by your creativity to develop new amazing tastes and recipes. 
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. 
Must adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible serving.
Great attention to detail and creativity.
Organizing and leadership skills.
Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.
Depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition.
Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.).


Prepares a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.

Creates new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.

Decorates pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.

Monitors stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.

Checks quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.

Identifies staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel.

Maintains a lean and orderly cooking station and adheres to health and safety standards.
