Minimum requirements

Trade qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or Construction.

Wide range of repair and maintenance skills.

Experience with plumbing and/or electrical systems is required.

Additional knowledge of HVAC/Carpentry/Painting/Masonry/Locksmithing/Welding highly regarded.

Excellent skill with common power tools.

Proficient with computers and mobile devices highly regarded.

Fluent English.

Contract details

  • TAX FREE € Salary – to be discussed
  • Contract: 12 months renewable
  • Vacation: 2 months - paid
  • Working hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
  • LIVE OUT – Accommodation (single and double occupancy) and meals – provided free of charge (for those accommodated outside estate 25% allowance on top of salary as an allowance to find an apartment and transportation is provided free of charge); only married couples can share accommodation. 
  • Facilities (gym, pool, laundry for personal clothes and towels etc.)
  • Strict rules regarding social behavior and grooming (no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs, inside the estate crew will need to wear uniforms and outside the estate girls will have to wear an abaya – no need to cover face or hair; men can wear shorts up to their knees and polo shirts with short sleeve)

This role is a team role. Must always assist your team if needed and respond to requests promptly.

Will be rostered on in one of 3 daily rotating shifts, generally working as part of a team of 2 technicians to resolve the following problems:

  • plumbing problems such as temporary emergency repairs, leaks and blockages

  • electrical problems such as replace a power switch or socket, change a lightbulb or test an appliance
  • carpentry jobs such as assemble or fix furniture, hang a painting or small-scale construction and repair projects, fix jammed or misaligned doors, repair and replace general hardware
  • small painting and plastering jobs to repair damage or repaint equipment
  • HVAC maintenance such as clean filters, replace fan belts and clear condensation drainage lines
  • replacing cracked or broken tiles, tile and grout small areas.

Will be supervising an outsourced maintenance team.
Reports all defects and follows up till done.
